Frequently Asked Questions
What is considered an empty line by this tool?
Both zero-character lines (immediate line breaks) and lines containing only spaces or tabs are detected as empty and removed.
Can I collapse multiple empty lines into a single blank line instead of removing all?
Yes. Select the "Collapse Multiple Empty Lines" option to normalize paragraph spacing without removing all breaks between sections.
Will this tool alter indentations on non-empty lines?
No. Unless you specifically enable the "Trim Indents" option, all original indentation on content lines is preserved.
